Adding your brand logo to a QR code makes it recognizable and trustworthy. A logo-centered QR code looks professional on business cards, product packaging, flyers, and social media.

Here is how to add a logo to a QR code using our free online QR code generator.

Step 1: Generate Your QR Code

Go to howtocreateaqrcode.com and enter your content — a URL, text, email, WiFi network, or any supported type. Customize the colors to match your brand.

Step 2: Upload Your Logo

Scroll to the Logo overlay section and click the upload button. Select a PNG or SVG file — transparent backgrounds work best. The logo will appear in the center of your QR code automatically.

Tip: Keep your logo simple. Fine details get lost at small sizes. A solid icon or monogram works better than a complex illustration.

Step 3: Set Error Correction to High

When you add a logo, part of the QR code gets covered. Higher error correction compensates for this. Set it to High (H — 30% recovery) for the most reliable scans.

Step 4: Download and Test

Download as PNG or SVG. Print it at the recommended size for your use case — at least 0.8 × 0.8 inches for business cards, larger for signage. Test with multiple phones before mass production.
